Colin Smith

Colin is L.E.K.'s Emeritus Adviser on Sports Media and Entertainment.  L.E.K. is a leading global strategy firm that advises globally especially in the business of sport.  Colin has extensive strategic advisory experience and has also undertaken senior executive roles for organisations in M&A, restructuring, turnarounds, strategic reviews, performance measurement and shareholder value.  This has been across a wide number of industries including sport.

Colin is the Chairman of Global Television the leading provider of studio and Outside Broadcasting, Chairman of MCM Entertainment a leading radio syndication company and Director of Southern Cross Broadcasting. 

Colin's other roles include Business Ambassador for South Australia, Director of Rowing Australia and Councillor of the St James Ethics Centre. 

Colin lectures on Sports Media Rights, Sports Sponsorhip, M&A and has co-authored studies on Performance Measurement, Price Optimisation and Short Termism. Colin has an MBA and an ISMP from Harvard Business School. Colin was also a successful sportsman representing in Rowing 1974-78 and a member of the World Champion crew, 1974.
